Solvang turns into a Danish Christmas village for Julefest, November 27, 2026 – January 3, 2027. The two biggest nights are the Tree Lighting Ceremony (Friday, December 4, 5:30pm, Solvang Park, 1630 Mission Dr) and the Julefest Parade (Saturday, December 5, 11:00am–1:30pm), so tree lighting weekend (December 4–6) sells out first. Nearly every hotel in town is a short walk from the park, which means you can park once and stay on foot all weekend.

- Book December 4–6 now. It's the busiest weekend of the season; weekdays in mid-December are calmer and cheaper.
